I am going on my fifth month working with Jess. I was not feeling good about my body and needed a change. I’ve always been intimidated by personal training. I never used my free sessions that came with my gym membership because I was embarrassed and terrified. Lockdown gave me the perfect opportunity to give it a try from the comfort of my own home. I had minimal equipment to start, but Jess said this was fine! I’ve slowly built up my home “gym” as my exercises have increased in intensity. I have two chronic injuries that Jess is able to work around and accommodate. If any exercise doesn’t feel right in the moment, we talk about it and make changes if necessary. I can feel myself getting stronger, but my mental health has been the biggest change. I look forward to my workouts with Jess, and even when I don’t, I still push myself to do it. I am working on not obsessing about the number on the scale, but instead focusing on how I physically and mentally feel. I'm Jess! Southern California born and raised, I love being outdoors and staying active.  Currently, I live in beautiful Denver with my family and we use any excuse to get outside for some camping, hiking, or bike riding.  I love spending time laughing over a delicious meal with a glass of wine and the ones I hold closest in this world.  I am extremely passionate about finding balance and fulfillment through exercise and honoring the capabilities of the human body, and I cannot wait to help you do the same!
